Tournament Format:
Tournament Division: This is a twelve (12) game qualifying format.
All twelve (12) games will count for the aggregate.
Teaching Division: This is a twelve (12) game qualifying
format. Six (6) games will be played on Saturday and six (6)
games will be played on Sunday. For aggregate purposes, the
best six (6) game block of each day will be used. **Teaching
Masters who only want to play in this event for aggregate only
will only be allowed to bowl on one of the days either
Saturday or Sunday.
Event Format: This event is open to masters of both the Teaching
and Tournament Divisions. This is a compulsory aggregate event for
the Tournament Division, and an optional aggregate event for the
Teaching Division. All bowlers will compete in a twelve (12) game
qualifying round. Upon completion, the top men and ladies will form
triples teams. The teams will consist of one scratch man, one scratch
lady and one POA player. Players will qualify irrespective of their
division. The scratch components of the team are open to both
tournament and teaching players, as is the POA component. The
teams will then compete in a single knockout format to determine the
ladies’ and men’s champions. The play-off format will be as follows:
Scratch Man Score + Scratch Lady Score +- POA Score. Note: There
will only be rings awarded to the winners of the Mixed Triples and
no ring for just the 6 game optional for the Teaching Division.
