Tournament Format:

Each zone, as designated by the MBAO, will hold a six (6) game qualifying round. The provincial round will consist of five (5) games. Zones will advance bowlers in separate men’s and ladies’ divisions based on the number of entries as follows:

1-4 Entries: one (1) POA
5-8 Entries: two (2) – 1 (POA), 1 (SCR)
9-12 Entries: three (3) – 2 (POA), 1 (SCR)
13-16 Entries: four (4) – 2 (POA), 2 (SCR)
17-20 Entries: five (5) – 3 (POA), 2 (SCR)

Note: Prior to the commencement of the tournament all Master Bowlers must make a choice as to which division is preferred for finals, should the same bowler win both scratch and POA divisions in the 1-4 category. If the bowler wins both scratch and POA divisions, they may advance in the scratch division, if that was their pre-tournament choice.

HOTEL BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Individuals must mention the MBAO and particular tournament when they are booking a room. Individuals will be required to guarantee their room with a major credit card and presentation of a credit card upon check-in. Any rooms left unreserved by the cut-off date will be released for general sale. Reservations will continue to be accepted after this date on a space available basis, at the hotel’s current rate.

DRESS CODE:

The dress code for all master bowlers at this event will be the MBAO golf shirt and black dress pants and/or skirts/skorts for the ladies. New masters will be required to purchase a golf shirt and for this event will be required to wear a golf shirt with a collar and black dress pants. The MBAO Official Uniform Shirt is optional.
