Tournament Format:

This tournament is compulsory for all affiliated Master Bowlers. There will be a qualifying round for the YBC Bantam and YBC Junior bowlers in their centre, using the best of two (2) weeks finishing January 30th, 2011. YBC bowlers will be qualifying on the basis of pins-over-average (POA) using the best of the two (2) weeks during their normal league play. The average for the YBC bowlers for the qualifying round will be their current YBC average. In the zone round and provincial finals YBC bowlers will use their average as of January 30th, 2011. New YBC bowlers must have bowled twelve (12) games prior to January 22nd, 2011 to establish an average. At the Zone Round and the Provincial Finals, a three (3) game pins-over-average (POA) team format will be used to determine the winner. Teams will consist of one Master Bowler, one Bantam and one Junior.  

HOTEL BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Individuals must mention the MBAO and when they are booking a room. Individuals will be required to guarantee their room with a major credit card and presentation of a credit card upon check in. Any rooms left unreserved by the cut-off date will be released for general sale. Reservations will continue to be accepted after this date on a space available basis, at the hotel’s current rate.

DRESS CODE:

The dress code for all bowling centre affiliated master bowlers at both the zone round and the Provincials will be the MBAO Official Uniform shirt and black dress pants/shorts  and/or skirts/skorts for the ladies. New masters whose shirt has been ordered and not yet received will be required to wear the MBAO golf shirt or a golf shirt with a collar and black dress pants. YBC Bantams and Juniors will be required to wear either their YBC-identified shirt or a golf shirt with a collar.
